TEAM PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME

We optimise performance through three stages.

1. Objective Diagnostic – We pinpoint the business objective that tackles your toughest challenge.

2. Refine and Restore Skills – We build capability by showing teams how to use and apply core skills in practice.

3. Advanced Tuning – We lock those skills into the business so results endure.

WHAT IS PERFORMANCE OPTIMISATION:

Optimise – Make the best or most effective use of.

Performance optimisation supports business owners/leaders to achieve their business objectives by better harnessing the capability of their team.

We build the core skills in your team so they can complete their tasks more effectively to achieve this business objective.

Whether that be Quality, Efficiency or Growth we equip teams with the ability to utilise improved core skills to deliver optimised performance.

Using and refining the skills of Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, and Problem Solving — built into real work, not left in theory.

What is optimisation training

1. OBJECTIVE DIAGNOSITIC:

HOW WE WORK WITH YOU:

1. Discovery – We work with you to uncover the challenge that really matters — the pain point at the heart of your business.

2. Evaluation – We pinpoint where change will deliver the greatest impact — whether in quality, efficiency, or growth.

3. Proposal – We turn insight into action, presenting a clear plan that shows how your teams can deliver results.

2. REFINE AND RESTORE SKILLS:

OUR APPROACH:

Building Capability – We introduce the core skills and the QAISR® technique that underpins performance.

Hands on Practice – We develop delegate’s core skills as they complete a Captivator Task , so they experience using QAISR® for themselves.

Applying to objectives – We demonstrate how the QAISR® technique can be used by your teams on an example work task that they complete.

Embedding in work – We ensure delegates select an appropriate task, which delivers the business objective. We demonstrate how the core skills can be used by them to more effectively complete that task and achieve the objective.

SKILLS PRACTICED:

The Captivator Task is where delegates use the core skills in a safe but unfamiliar challenge — learning by doing, building confidence, and proving to themselves that they can apply the skills effectively. Guided by the QAISR® technique, they develop capability through action.

QAISR® in action- Delegates work through the technique step by step:

Question – Find the information

Analysis – Understand the value of that information.

Innovate – Think the unconventional – find hidden value

Solve – Make decisions – create a plan of action.

Review – Assess progress and lessons learnt.

Without practising the skills, delegates cannot complete the Captivator Task — and that is the point. The task is designed so that QAISR® must be applied for it to be solved. With the tutor and facilitator providing guidance, delegates use QAISR® themselves to complete the task and build confidence in their capability.

Applying Skills to the Business Objective

Delegates use QAISR® to complete a work‑task example that demonstrates how the business objective can be achieved. They then select a task they complete regularly and create an application plan to take away.

Delegates leave with the confidence to use QAISR®. With that capability, it becomes easy to repeat the approach for task after task — enabling them to solve your business objectives.

SKILLS APPLIED:

Application ensures the performance optimisation delivers lasting value — capability that sticks, not a dusty folder under the safety boots.

The Skills Application Plan captures where and how these skills will be used. Guaranteeing that learning is transferred into action, contributing to solving the business objective.

SKILLS MEASURED:

Performance optimisation an investment and should show valuable results.

Skills are observed and recorded as they are demonstrated, providing evidence of capability and shining a light on the strengths of your team and highlighting areas for growth.

The results are presented in an Performance Optimisation Report, giving you measurable proof of progress and actionable observations.

DELIVERABLES:

Performance Optimisation Workshop – A full‑day, in‑person workshop where delegates practice optimisation skills and create application plans tailored to their role.

Performance Optimisation Report – Documented performance results from the workshop, with recommendations for embedding the learning into business practice.

Performance Optimisation Handover – A structured session to transfer outcomes, review progress, and agree next steps for applying optimisation at task level to solve the original business objective.

3. ADVANCED TUNING

Training Approach

FIXING FIRMLY THE SKILLS IN YOUR BUSINESS

Application Plan Review – We ensure each delegate’s plan is put into practice by revisiting it, checking progress, and challenging them to demonstrate how they are applying QASIR® to their tasks.

Embedding sessions – Three 1‑to‑1 online one hour sessions per delegate, focused on applying core skills to their actual tasks. Reinforcing value by quantifying and qualifying examples of skills in action.

Skills Embedding Report – Documented evidence of implementation, showing measurable results and impact.

Skills Embedding Handover – A structured handover to review outcomes, confirm impact, and agree next steps for sustaining optimisation in the organisation.

THE CORE SKILLS:

Critical Thinking

CRITICAL THINKING

The ability to think reasonably, detaching yourself from personal bias, emotional responses, and subjective opinions. It’s of value for:

Diagnosing key issues

Identifying and communicating the value in information

Forming reasoned and unbiased arguments

Making more effective decisions

CREATIVE THINKING

Making indirect connections and thinking beyond the obvious, using reasoning and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step by step logic. It’s of value for:

The systematic use of curiosity and imagination

Identifying and evaluating unconventional ideas

Embracing uncertainty to support change

Using creativity as a source of innovation

Problem Solving Image

PROBLEM SOLVING

Deciding and prioritising the appropriate steps to resolve complex issues. Creating a workable, practical and measurable plan of action. It’s of value for:

Identifying the most appropriate method to solve a problem

Developing a structured process to solve.

Using robust controls and measures to achieve objectives

Practical and interactive team learning.
